My recent stay at Penzion Pivovar Podlesi exceeded all my expectations. Not only was the homemade marinated hermelin a culinary delight, but the ribs practically melted off the bone, showcasing the exceptional quality of their kitchen. The unique touch of naming rooms after beers added a charming and immersive element to my experience. The firm mattresses in the room, coupled with the high ceilings, provided a comfortable and spacious retreat after a day of exploring the nearby Vojna memorial prison and the Czech Republic's largest mining museum. The ease of finding this hidden gem, combined with the friendly evening staff, made for a truly exceptional stay that I highly recommend to anyone seeking a blend of local charm and comfort in their travels.
